Collect data from Solar Inverters & MPPT strings in real time. Interface with Inverters on multiple field interface options of RS-485, RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet & CAN. Multiple Protocol support on Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, CAN Bus.
DG Gen Sets, Wind Turbines
The Em Solar Data Logger comes with multiple interfacing options to directly interface with Diesel Generator – Gensets, especially on CAN Bus / RS-485.
Energy Meters
Monitor Energy Meters & get detailed insights on Solar PV systems, by monitoring each string. To enable monitoring of multiple Field devices of varying priorities, the Em Solar Data Logger comes with not 1 but 2 individual RS-485 Ports.
4G - GSM, Wi-Fi, Ethernet Connectivity
The EM Solar Data Logger comes with all three forms of connectivity options, for Ethernet, Wi-Fi & GSM / GPRS based 2G & 4G Connectivity. A user can choose any one or all 3 depending on site conditions.
Weather Stations
Interface Weather Stations directly with the EM Solar Data Logger. Instantaneous Power Output, Wind Speed & Direction, Air temperature & Pressure, Turbine RPM etc. Multiple Analog & Digital IO’s enable Data Logging of all Field Assets.
.CSV / .PDF Downloads
The EM Solar Monitoring Platform enables the Em Solar Data Logger to house an Embedded Web Server. A Web Application on the data logger allows users to download te logged data in .csv / .pdf formats.

The EM Solar Data Logger:
- Easily configure the EM Solar data Logger with Field Asset Tags/ Parameters using an Excel based Configuration Utility.
- Has multiple Analog & Digital IO’s, Serial Interfaces on RS-485 & CAN to make it the perfect data logging device to connect to all field assets at the same time.
- It has the ability to extend and expand its interfaces by adding multiple slave devices on RS-485 / Wi-Fi.
- Comes with all 3 standard Internet Connectivity Options of Ethernet, Wi-Fi & GSM / GPRS based 2G & 4G Connectivity.
- It also comes with a Local Hotspot generation facility. During loss of Internet Connectivity, it can generate its own hotspot for the site individual to connect to, and download data directly on their phones, laptops etc.
- Standard 8 – 32GB Inbuilt SD Card to buffer data if there is loss of network.
- An Option of attaching a pen drive has also been given, wherein data can be downloaded directly on the Pen Drive, and can be viewed in .CSV / .PDF formats.
- Data can be sent to a remote server on MQTT, HTTP, MQTT with TLS & HTTP(S) & OPC – UA Protocols.
- Option of sending data using FTP is also present.
