The Em Ramanujan also abbreviated as ER is a Super Advanced Edge Data logger, is a powerful Industrial Automation Controller which can be used for many complex automation tasks and is a comprehensive alternative to complicated & cost intensive PLC’s.

  • The Em Ramanujan functionality can be extended by adding multiple Embedos Expansion modules ( Em Maxwell Series ) of Analog & Digital IO’s, and many more serial communication interfaces on RS-485 & CAN.

 

  • With The Codesys integrated Runtime, user interfaces & visualizations can be generated and displayed on PCs, tablets or smartphones via all common and interconnected browsers on the same network. This eliminates the need for separate HMI software.

 

  • In addition to running the CODESYS Control runtime on the Em Ramanujan ( ER Series ),  individual applications can of course still be installed or be programmed via Node-RED, Python or directly in C, among othersprogramming languages.

 

  • The Em Ramanujan ( ER Series ) has a Codesys run time that inherently supports many fieldbus or Industrial Ethernet protocols such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or CANopen, Modbus TCP & OPC – UA and thus enables the use of the ER as a soft PLC in such networks.
