Digital Length Counter / Speed Monitor / RPM / ZSS meter

The EM Bose functions as a frequency-to-distance converter. A sophisticated odometer for industrial applications.

EM Bose receives electrical pulses from sensors (like encoders or proximity switches) attached to moving equipment such as conveyor belts or rotating machinery.

In this application, the EM Bose represents a Digital Length Counter or a Speed Monitor or an RPM Meter

• The Embedos Digital Length Counter Meter monitors speed of the conveyor / motor & calculates total length. 

• The Embedos Digital Length Counter Meter converts frequency/pulses input to metres per min and display it.  (Length between two pulses will be calculated from the user inputs).

• Totalize the above value and display it in metres. 

• Setpoint up to which totalize values increases.

• Relay output once totalize value reaches setpoint.

• Relay output should be on for specific amount of time (settable by user) followed by totalized value reset.

• If amount of time is set to zero, the output will remain ON until reset button is pressed on screen.

• A specific range will be provided by user in metre/min.

• Analog output should be generated as per the range and Frequency input to be converted into metre/min.

• Totalize value to be stored and resumed once device reboots.

• The Embedos Digital Length Counter Meter comes with a Setpoint set by the user in meters up to which length of the rope is monitored, and the relay output is triggered once the length passes the setpoint and the length monitoring stops at that interval.

• The relay output remains on for set time by the user in seconds. After that, a reset is performed clearing the relay output and the length monitoring value.

• If the time is set to zero, then the relay output will remain on until a manual reset is performed by the user.

• An analog output to be provided proportional to the speed monitoring in the Embedos Digital Length Counter Meter.

• Em Bose (EB) consists of a Wifi interface that can be used to transmit data and receive Over the Air ( OTA ) updates if there is a requirement to upgrade the application over the internet.

The same device can monitor conveyor speeds in a packaging plant, track cable lengths in telecommunications manufacturing, measure paper feed in printing operations, or count revolutions in rotating machinery by adjusting the pulse-to-distance ratio and setpoint values.
