Paper Hanger Counter for Printing Press
The EM Bose functions as a counting system that monitors hanger and paper movements through pulse signal detection on designated input channels.
Em Bose (EB) calculates fault conditions when paper counts deviate from configured papers-per-hanger ratios and triggers output responses when thresholds are exceeded.
The Hanger Paper Counter provides cycle tracking, parameter configuration, and data storage capabilities through a touch screen interface with WiFi connectivity for firmware updates.
Application Description
The Hanger Paper Counter in the printing press monitors printing press operations through pulse input detection.
The Em Bose receives signals from Digital Input DI01 for hanger movement tracking and Digital Input DI02 for paper count monitoring.
Digital input DI03 handles hanger count testing, while DI04 controls output toggle functions.
The system calculates fault conditions by comparing paper counts against predefined papers-per-hanger ratios.
When fault thresholds are exceeded, the device activates Digital Output OP01 for a specified number of hangers before automatic reset.
Digital Output OP02 triggers when hanger counts exceed the configured setpoint in hanger count mode.
The touch screen interface displays real-time counts for hangers, papers, and faults, along with cycle timing from initial hanger detection.
Users configure parameters including papers per hanger, fault thresholds, output ranges, and hanger set points through the menu system.
Em Bose stores previous cycle data and supports firmware updates through WiFi connectivity.
